Family Background Anurag was a decent three-year-old boy of an Anglo-Indian Couple. He was born in an educated family of a navy couple. Being a single child, he was nurtured by the couple with care, love and attention. Moreover, he had received a stable and happy life. The couple’s main priority was to give their son a good education and a very disciplined life. Abstract background: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is the most common inflammatory demyelinating disease of the CNS and the most frequent cause of nontraumatic neurological disability in young and middle-aged adults (1). Women are twice as likely to be affected as men, and onset typically occurs between the ages of 20 and 40 years (2). The diagnosis Depend on a detailed history; careful neurological examination; and supportive paraclinical investigations. According to the new McDonald criteria, the diagnosis of MS requires objective evidence of lesions disseminated in space and time.MRI findings may contribute to the determination of dissemination in time or space (4). Aim of the study: the aim is to evaluate the role of MRI and find the most common findings in the early stages of the disease, which could provide the knowledge to help finding a higher quality care or even a cure to the disease. Result: we have found that the MRI is the first choice of imaging in detecting Multiple Sclerosis. From our 50 patients 15(30%/) were diagnosed by active demyelinating MS and 35 patients (7%) were diagnosed by chronic demyelinating MS. The most used sequence in all of the cases was T2 weighted, FLAIR was performed in 49 of the cases (98%), T1 after IV contrast was used in 7 cases (14%). For example, in the movie Half Ton Man a man named Patrick weighed about 1,072 pounds which equals the same amount of 5 baby elephants. One man was eating almost 14 thousand calories per day. That is what an average person should be eating in two weeks. But this addiction is leading their lives to death. As professor Dulai mentioned in lecture, an individual should maintain a healthy diet. This means having small portions, making half of our plates fruits and vegetables and having different â€Å"colors† in our meal. When watching these films, the main foods these individuals would intake is fried foods, candy, cookies, soda, and overall greasy foods. They weren’t showing healthy snacks such as carrots, apples or even grapes. These individuals were eating 10 times the recommended amount of food an individual should eat. This addiction is known as dopamine, which is released by hormones when eating a particular type of food and it makes the individual want more. This particular problem has affected these individuals which has lead them to become obese. Some of these individuals don’t have control of what they eat and are in denial. Others have found ways of losing weight by getting a surgery but they gained all the weight back by not measuring the amount of food they intake. Professor Dulai has also mentioned that the amounts of calories we take in are to help us have energy throughout the day. None of these individuals did anything to release the energy so the amount of calories stayed in their body which leads to fat cells multiplying when gaining weight. I come to a conclusion that an individual must stay healthy by eating a particular amount of calories and having a variety of colors in their foods.
